We would recommend staying in Uley which is close to Owlpen but has limited accommodations options, or Tetbury which is nearby and has a larger availability of hotels.

Getting there
By Car
Owlpen is a secluded Cotswold valley a mile east of Uley. It’s under an hours drive from Bath & Bristol, and around two and a half hours drive from London.
Approach the estate through Uley. Google Maps may give you a more direct route but this is through steep, narrow roads which are best avoided.
When you arrive at Owlpen, please park in the car park and walk down the tarmac drive.
We’re considering options for late night transport for those staying in the area.
By Public Transport
It is easier to arrive by car, however there are options for public transport. The nearest train station is Stroud, which can be reached by an occasional direct train from London, or more regular trains requiring a change in Swindon or Cheltenham Spa. From Stroud, the 65 bus to Dursley will take you to Uley and it’s a 15-20 minute walk to Owlpen from there.
Trains can be booked via the trainline website, and buses can be paid for on the bus with cash or contactless debit or credit cards.
